-For those wanting to build their own creative skills, Satinwood offers beginner art workshops for adults, based in Lincolnshire. These sessions are structured, practical and welcoming. Shaped by over twenty years of teaching adults, the approach is clear and supportive, with techniques broken down into manageable steps. It is a space to try things out, ask questions and build confidence at a steady pace.
-Satinwood also offers a ready to buy stationery gift range made from recycled materials. These pieces are simple, useful and thoughtfully made, bringing creativity into everyday life while making good use of materials.
Alongside these offers, Satinwood is rooted in an ongoing art practice based in a garden workshop in the heart of Lincolnshire. The work is informed by the natural surroundings close at hand, with a focus on colour, texture and the quieter details that are often overlooked. That same level of attention runs through every part of the business, from framing to workshops to product design.
Satinwood is built on a straightforward approach. Make things well, keep it accessible, and create space for people to connect with creativity in a way that feels natural and worthwhile.
Workshops to get stuck into. A mix of relaxed, hands on sessions including 2D and 3D drawing, watercolour, acrylic, 2D and 3D needle felting, lino cut and print, calligraphy, and mini notebook binding. Plenty of variety, and always room to explore.
